In honor of Toy Story 3 this weekend, I made this necklace out of authentic Bucket O Soldiers

Originally, I wanted to do something special for the release of Toy Story 3, but decided to veer away from Buzz and Woody and focus on the other toys, and I got inspired by some heavily jeweled rhinestone wreaths and decided to put a playful spin on that concept. I strategically strung the soldiers into a clustered troop on leather cord, with one soldier climbing at the long end of the cord [as seen dangling from my fingers]. The necklace is adjustable, and when worn, the dangling soldier looks like he's climbing up the length of my outfit.

Like many of my ideas, I would love to do a mini-collection of Toy Story-inspired pieces, but alas, I need more crafting time. Blerg.
